She worked as a teacher in Basic Regular Education for 25 years, teaching Social Sciences and Personal Development and Citizenship at the secondary level. She is currently a faculty member in the Faculty of Education and serve as Director of the Secondary Education Program at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.

Drawing on her teaching experience, she is particularly interested in integrating the Social Responsibility approach into initial teacher education, especially within the didactics courses under my responsibility. This involves implementing educational projects that promote socially relevant learning through the active engagement of my students with diverse school communities
