She is Fonny Dameaty Hutagalung is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counselling, Faculty of Education, University of Malaya. She completed her education in the field of Psychology from the Bachelor’s level through to the PhD. She currently serves as the Director of the Universiti Malaya Family and Research Development Centre.

Dr. Hutagalung has published more than 10 books and over 100 research articles in high-impact journals indexed in ISI, ESCI, Scopus, and conference proceedings. Her research focuses on educational psychology, particularly in areas related to gifted children, cognitive abilities, and children’s behavioural development.
