Conference Speakers

She is is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Linguistics at Sapientia University, Faculty of Technical and Humanistic Sciences, Târgu Mureș, Romania. She earned her doctorate from the University of Arts, Târgu Mureș (2013), after completing a master’s degree in American Studies and a bachelor’s degree in English and Hungarian Language and Literature. Her research focuses on specialized languages, translation studies, and foreign language pedagogy. She is a certified translator in English, Hungarian, and Romanian, and serves as an international examiner for the European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages. She has also contributed to research projects on the linguistic monitoring of Hungarian in audiovisual media and on complex problem solving across curricular domains.
