Dr. Fern W.Sucher is a Thai academic dedicated to advancing sustainable tourism and innovative education. She earned her doctoral degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, one of Asia’s leading institutions in the field. With over 15 years of experience, she has worked to bridge communities, cultures, and classrooms across ASEAN and beyond. She currently serves as Associate Dean for Planning, Quality Assurance, and Academic Services, and as Director of the ASEAN Tourism Professional Center at the Graduate School of Tourism Management, NIDA (Thailand). Her expertise spans creative tourism, capacity building, and lifelong learning, with a strong focus on integrating sustainability into tourism education. In her recent work, she explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and pedagogy, particularly in developing future-ready graduates and enhancing sustainable tourism practices. Passionate about transforming insights into impact, she supports initiatives that empower people and places while shaping innovative, human-centred approaches for the global tourism industry.
