Martha Garcia Chamorro holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages from the Universidad del Atlántico. She has completed specialized studies in English Language Teaching, a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis on English, and a Doctorate in Education from the Universidad del Norte. She has worked as an advisor to public schools on English teaching programs. She has led national projects to improve the communication skills of public-school teachers, technicians, and technologists in different areas. She is also a researcher in the fields of foreign language pedagogy and didactics and language teacher training. She is currently an associate professor in the Foreign Languages Bachelor’s Degree program at the Universidad del Atlántico and coordinates the ESAPIDEX-B research group, registered with the Ministry of Science.
