Dr. Vijay Pabbathi is a Senior Lecturer in Anatomy and Physiology at Health Sciences University, UK, with over 30 years of experience in higher education. He is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE and a four-time recipient of student-led teaching awards.
His teaching spans anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, neuroscience and biomedical sciences across foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. He has a particular interest in student engagement, active learning, assessment design and the effective use of digital technologies to support learning.
Dr. Pabbathi has led and contributed to curriculum development, assessment innovation and educational enhancement across health-professions education. His current educational scholarship includes the development and evaluation of the Exam Scope Transparency Framework, designed to improve assessment clarity, conceptual understanding and students’ approach to revision. His broader interests focus on creating learning experiences that encourage participation, connection and deeper understanding.
