He is a Programme Coordinator with the HEART/NSTA Trust, Jamaica and has been engaged in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for more than a decade. He holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and management from the University of Technology, Jamaica, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Career and Technical Education at the same institution. Mr. Meggoe’s research interests focus on policies that promote the integration of TVET at the lower levels of the Jamaican education system, with particular emphasis on how early exposure to technical and vocational learning can contribute to national development and economic growth. He remains committed to advancing TVET as a critical pathway for workforce readiness and sustainable development.
